• Death. Might have died in the Spanish flu epidemic of 1918-1919. The origin of the disease was in Kansas and it killed thousands in three waves in 1918 and 1919. Spain was extremely hard hit when American soldiers carried the disease to Europe.
Rosa married Charles M. Cowan, son of Joseph Cowan and Sarah E. ? Cowan. (Charles M. Cowan was born on 14 Mar 1883 in Missouri, died on 5 Jan 1981 in Lincoln, Nebraska and was buried in 1981 in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Lincoln, Nebraska.)
